Registered Staff Nurse
The Registered Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, supporting physicians during medical procedures, and ensuring the efficient delivery of healthcare services. The role includes direct patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with the medical team to support patient recovery and maintain smooth hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care & Clinical Services:
- Deliver direct nursing care, including monitoring patients’ vital signs and supporting medical procedures.
- Prepare and administer prescribed medications, injections, and intravenous therapies.
- Maintain precise patient records and ensure all documentation is completed promptly.
- Support doctors and specialists during medical treatments and surgical procedures.
- Follow strict infection control standards and maintain proper hygiene protocols.
Emergency & Critical Care Support:
- Respond quickly to medical emergencies and deliver immediate first-response care.
- Assist in managing critically ill patients in the ICU, emergency department, and operating rooms.
- Closely monitor post-operative and critical patients to identify and address potential complications.
Patient Engagement & Family Support:
- Educate patients and family members about aftercare instructions and the recovery process.
- Provide empathetic support to patients while ensuring a caring and respectful environment.
- Listen to patient concerns and communicate important issues to the relevant healthcare team.
Coordination & Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with doctors, specialists, and nursing staff to deliver coordinated patient care.
- Work with laboratory and pharmacy teams to manage diagnostic tests and medication requirements.
